nowadays everyone is busy so choosing cooked food
Cooking - what do we loose
nutrients
cooked food are of two times:
1) Arga pakvalu: use of natural sunshine to cook or ripen the fruit
2) Agni Pakvalu: use fire to cook food
fire characteristic is kill or change shape, about 100 110 degree centigrade or in oven 350 or deep fry oil etc
the food when cooked at this temp gets soft.

cooked food if put in mouth it will not produce saliva (unless you put masala etc)so we eat without chewing
raw veggies if you put in mouth produces saliva and we neet to chew for sometime so some digestion also takes place

suryaharam does not cause body baddakam after eating but cooked food if eaten in large quantity causes a person to dull and energyless

raw food have nutrients while cooked food loooses nutrients when cooked

vit c antioxidants that helps body to fight infection.

B complex that body needs for nerves muscles etc is freely available in raw food. If cooked they are are all lost by cooking boiling or frying as they wash off

micro nutrients also gets lost

sodium potassium ratio is balanced in raw food. By cooking potassium is lost 75 to 100 % while sodium remains the same and we are adding additional sodium by salt that is causing even more problem

example:
take pessarlu and dry in the sun and put in a glass jar
take another set of pessarlu and fry in the pan about 40 degrees and put in a glass jar
observe the 2 jars both same temp heat one dried in sun other on fire
both look the same but the seeds dried in sun does not have germs build up but the one fried on fire gets germs.
sun dried seeds also when put in soil with water will germinates but not the fire dried seeds rot and get germs inside it. Not even one seed will germinate from fire dried seed
conclusion
cooked food will not only destroy the nutrients but also helps germs to develop and build
body needs raw food that are filled with nutrients, so regular eating raw food the body will not need any vitamin supplements
