10 Epochs

Patriarchs

Abraham, Noah, Isaac, Jacob, Judea. Founders of the Israelite nation.

Creation

God created the Cosmos. It was the beginning of time.

Exodus

Moses leads the Israelites out of captivity in Egypt.

Conquest

Joshua leads Israelites and conquers Canaan.

Judges

God appointed judges to rule over the Israelites. Some examples are Gideon, Deborah, and Samson.

Kings

The Israelites wanted to have a king like all the other nations. Saul, David, and Solomon were all kings.

Divided Kingdom

The 10 northern tribes of Israel didn't want to follow Solomon's son. So, the 10 northern tribes became Israel and the 2 southern tribes became Judah.

Exile

Judah' Exile

Around 600 B.C, the Jews were conquered by the babylonians.

Israelites

The Isralites were taken into captivity by the Assyrians around 740 B.C. They never returned from exile.

Return

Judah's Return from Exile

Judah returned from exile after 70 years of exile.

Silent Years

400 years where God revealed nothing new to his people.
