Preparing your presentation
  • Brainstorm and list the major topics you or your audience have covered
  • Brainstorm points you can make about each topic
  • Weed out all but 3 or 4 major topics
  • Decide on what visual aids you can use
  • Use visuals for as many points as possible
  • Assemble rough slideshow and do a trial run to check for time
  • Add or subtract content as needed to meet time requirements
  • Never delete slides, always put retired slides after the end of the presentation.
